Year 4 visited Wakehurst Place to help support their learning of living things in science. The chidlren learnt how to carefully dissect a flower and use a variety of magnification including microscopes to explore their structures. The children worked in small groups using a variety of fieldwork equipment to study different species of tree. They compared their findings and drew simple conclusions about the differences between trees.
