Safeguarding
Langley Green Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We are fully committed to ensuring that consistent effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support children, families and staff at school. We ensure that all staff receive appropriate training, guidance and support to undertake the effective safeguarding of children. Any concerns are passed through the designated safeguarding leaders within the school. They can be contacted by email – DSL@lgprimary.org.uk

Operation Encompass
Operation Encompass is a national scheme that operates jointly between schools and all police forces.
This means that our school will be told, prior to the start of the next school day, when police have attended an incident of domestic abuse where there is a child who attends our school who is related to any of those involved in the incident.
